The bustling Sanderson Arcade is in the historic town of Morpeth, or take a look at Alnwick’s main shopping area located in the town centre. The Marketplace holds a market every Saturday, with a traditional Farmer’s Market on the last Friday of every month.

Family attractions

Alnwick Castle is a short drive from the park and is a day out for all the family. From centuries of history to Harry Potter inspired magic, you will find it all at Alnwick Castle. While you are there be sure to visit the 12 acres of magnificent Gardens, play in the water jets or dine in the famous treehouse.

Wildlife

The Farne Islands are famous nationwide for the wildlife. If seeing the seabird spectacle is your goal, plan your visit between mid April and late July to see the largest number of birds. Fluffy white seal pups can be seen on the islands from late October.
