Swaleside Country Park is based in Topcliffe village and holding a charming location on the beautiful banks of the river Swale.

Open 12 months of the year, the park offers you a base to enjoy miles of scenic walks and an abundance of beautiful countryside to take in. Swaleside Country Park, situated in the Vale of York, has the beautiful North York Moors to the East and the stunning Yorkshire Dales to the West is a walkers paradise, so be sure to pack some suitable walking shoes when you visit. We recommend the route from the market town of Helmsley to Rievaulx Abbey.
