East Ord, Berwick-upon-Tweed TD15 2NS, UK
Berwick-upon-Tweed, England’s most Northern town, steeped in history. Stunning views of the town can be viewed from the UK’s only bastioned town walls.
A magnificent coastline, take in the fresh North Sea air on Spittal beach and follow the Northumberland Coastal Path heading south towards Holy Island.
Take a boat trip from the mouth of the River Tweed and go dolphin spotting, or enjoy a sail up the river passing through the bridges and out into the open countryside.
The Farne Islands are famous nationwide for the wildlife. If seeing the seabird spectacle is your goal, plan your visit between mid April and late July to see the largest number of birds. Fluffy white seal pups can be seen on the islands from late October.
Ord House Country Park boasts 5 star touring pitches. There are large pitches available, all hardstanding and you’ll have the choice of electric hook up or fully serviced.
