With our parks recently reopening, more people around the country are becoming interested in summer staycations in the UK. So we thought there was no better time to tell you why you should choose a touring caravan holiday at Maguires Country Parks this summer.

Touring caravan holidays give you the freedom to travel anywhere you like around the country, discovering all the beautiful places the UK has to offer. Although that all might change when you visit one of our country parks – we very much doubt you’d want to visit anywhere else!

Touring caravan holidays are significantly cheaper than most getaways. After you’ve invested in your caravan, the cost for a pitch is a lot less than a night in a swanky local hotel. Dependent on what you’re after, touring caravans can be purchased for as little as £2,000. Sign us up!

Having your own touring caravan means you can decorate it exactly how you like, making it feel like a home away from home. On top of this, our pitches at Maguires Country Parks have all the amenities to make life cushty. It includes:

- A clubhouse with both an adults only lounge and soft play area (we also host regular bingo and quiz nights too!)

Endless holidays
When you own your own touring caravan, you have the ability to go away whenever you want to. Feeling spontaneous? Jump in and head off this weekend! If you need to have a getaway, take a week long break at Easter! It’s totally up to you. Did you know, on average, touring caravan owners go away four weeks a year plus ten weekends?! You know what that means? Endless holidays whenever you fancy. Yep, sounds like bliss to us.
Meet new people
Travelling around in your touring caravan gives you the chance to meet and socialise with new people both on the park and in the area. At Maguires Country Parks, we’re all super friendly so you can always stop for a natter. Oh, and don’t worry about your designated driver for the evening, enjoy a drink on the campsite with your newfound friends and have a fantastic evening. There’s nothing better.
We currently have seasonal touring pitches available at Ord House Country Park and pitches for weekend stays at Forget Me Not Country Park. All pitches are hard standing and we have a selection available including fully serviced pitches (electric, draining and water). Some even include a TV booster point!
