The six-week holidays have begun and you might be wondering how to keep the little ones amused for such a long period of time. In and around our Maguires Country Parks, there is plenty of summer holiday activities to keep the whole family entertained.

Located at Forget Me Not Country Park in Longhorsley, Northumberland; The Prince William Bar & Grill is open all summer long.
Take a seat inside or outside and enjoy a tempting menu of traditional pub favourites as well as ice-cold beers and lagers on draft, real ale, chilled wine, fruity cocktails, and a range of soft drinks, coffees and teas.
The famous open air museum in County Durham allows you to immerse yourself in the industrial history of the North East of England.
Head out with the whole family and wander through the reconstructed town to visit the unmissable sweet shop, chemist and fragrant bakery. Don’t forget to pop in to The Sun Inn for lunch to enjoy a pint of locally brewed ale and choice of tasty snacks.
Experience the pre-First World War pit village filled with miners’ cottages, a school and a colliery to see what life was really like down the mine during these times. No trip to Beamish Museum is complete without a tram ride, so be sure to hop on!
