Last of the summer whine.

Well the summer is almost over and what a summer it has been. It still didn’t stop our touring park being as busy as ever and the new Wishbone lodges are proving a very popular alternative to tenting, especially when we have had such a wet summer.
The park maintains the Visit Britain 5 stars, the AA 5 Pennant with increased percentage score, the David Bellamy Gold Award and the Loo of the Year 5 stars. Icing on the cake was the success in the Northumbria in Bloom. Another Gold award and the winner of the Gladys Watson Memorial Trophy. A great achievement for our gardeners when you consider the challenging conditions this year, so well done to Catherine & Steve.
Our Clubhouse Manager Scott & fiance Kim tie the knot on 6th October and I am sure you will all join us in wishing them all the very best for the future.
Just a reminder to all our holiday home owners to ensure your caravan is protected from the winter weather and seasonal pitch holders to take your awnings down to avoid any damage from strong winds or heavy snow.
For anyone who is thinking of buying a nice new holiday home on our park we are getting some new stock in during the next few weeks so come and have a look. THERE WILL BE SOME GOOD DEALS TO BE DONE!!!!
