As the year draws to a close, many other parks are starting to close their doors, but not Maguires Country Parks. Our parks are open 12 months of the year, so you can make the most of the festive period with a winter getaway in some of the most beautiful countryside in the British Isles.
Mid Week Special
Our popular Mid Week Special for touring customers is running throughout the Christmas Break. You can book four night’s stay at Ord House Country Park in Berwick or Forget Me Not Country Park in Longhorsley, near Morpeth, on a hard-standing pitch with electric and water hook-up for just £60. Contact us today to book your break!
Our on-site bars and restaurants – Prince William Bar & Grill at Forget Me Not and Maguires Bar at Ord House – are open throughout the season for food and drinks, with regular quiz nights, bingo and music to keep you entertained during your stay.
Hire Caravans
Don’t have a touring caravan? Don’t worry! We have beautiful Caravan Holiday Homes available to hire at Newbus Grange Country Park in Darlington and Ord House Country Park in Berwick. Not your typical hire caravans, our holiday homes come complete with all of the things you need to make your break as relaxing as possible, with kitchen utensils, bedding and towels all included.
Glamping
If you’d prefer something different, then have you thought about Glamping? Ord House Country Park has beautiful glamping pods which are just perfect for a romantic getaway or a short break with the kids. The glamping pods are central heated and have light double glazing, so you will be snug and warm even if it’s cold outside!
Winter Drain Down
If you own a Holiday Home at one of our parks and you are away over the winter period, it is time to prepare your caravan for the cold, wet weather. We offer a Winter Drain Down for a fixed fee, which you can enquire about at the park reception. Otherwise, you can read our previous blog with tips on Winterising Your Caravan. This will give you peace of mind while you are away from the park and prevent any problems from occurring that need to be dealt with when you return for your next holiday!
