Coronavirus Update 04.11.20
Unfortunately we can confirm that our parks will be forced to close on Thursday 5th November to comply with the UK national lockdown.
We have been informed that caravan holiday parks fall into the ‘other accommodation’ category and our closure will be announced imminently.
These tougher national measures are to protect the NHS and save lives. The UK government enforced lockdown is scheduled to last until 2nd December.
Overnight stays and holidays away from primary residences will not be allowed. This includes holidays abroad and in the UK. It also means you cannot stay in a second home
As the government has not reintroduced shielding for the vulnerable, this will not be a reason to stay in your holiday home. You must return to your home address.
We can only permit you to stay in your holiday home if asking you to leave will make you homeless. This should not be the case for any of our owners as we are holiday parks and to use your caravan as your main place of residence would be a breach of your licence agreement. If you think this describes you, you must contact your park manager immediately.
We understand many of you will have questions. Please contact your park manager who will be able to help you.
Could all owners make arrangements to collect all essential belongings from your holiday home, remove awnings if necessary. Consider the need to drain down your holiday home. And if you are currently at the park, please prepare to return to your home address.
We require everyone to vacate the park by 4.30pm on Wednesday 4th November.
We will be running on a skeleton team of staff throughout the lockdown. The office phones will be manned between 10am – 4pm from Monday to Friday. There will be an answer machine available at all other times.
We urge owners to join our owners Facebook page for updates, we will also be keeping in touch with everyone via email and post. If you need to update you details please contact the office ASAP.
We are as disappointed as you to find ourselves in this situation again. We know it is tough to be away from your holiday home but we also know that we are doing everything we can to ensure when we are open, you and your family will continue to make memories at our beautiful parks.
On behalf of our family and our excellent team, we cannot wait to welcome you back to your parks. When that is, we cannot say yet, but when we do, we will be ready and waiting for you.
