Welcome to the first installment of our new monthly newsletter! As always it’s been a busy month for Maguire’s Country Parks as we get ready for the Summer Season.
Ord House, our park in Northumberland, is now taking bookings for Touring, Camping and the latest craze of Glamping! Forget putting your tent up, Glamping is the way forward – why not come and experience ‘glamorous camping’ in one of our fantastic Wishbone Lodges? Glamping truly has the best of both worlds – you can relax and enjoy every minute of the great outdoors while enjoying 5 Star amenities like double glazing, lights, plug sockets for your hair straighteners, low wattage electric heating and even your very own veranda! The lodges comfortably sleep up to 4 people, so they’re ideal for a family holiday or a couples retreat. Elsewhere on the park, our touring pitches have been renovated, with fresh gravel and the ground has been evened out to make your stay even more enjoyable and our fun mini golf course has been freshly painted and spruced up, so why not come and have a swing?
If it’s a tasty meal you’re after, then our Family Lounge Bar at Ord House has some great offers at the moment. Wednesday night is our Italian night where you can get three delicious courses for just £9.99, or, maybe a steak is more your thing? Saturday night is Steak Night at Ord House. Two mouthwatering steaks and a bottle of wine are just £20, so why not treat yourself? On Sunday’s we have a lovely Sunday Lunch with Yorkshire Puddings and all the trimmings at just £7.50 for a main meal or £11.50 for three courses.
Newbus Grange Country Park is having Wifi installed throughout the park, so you’ll be able to visit our excellent new website as often as you like! The park is situated just outside the market town of Darlington so you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside while still having the benefit of being close to some great shops, boutiques, bars and cafes.
Life is as peaceful and tranquil as ever at our residential park, Low Carrs. Just a stones-throw from the picturesque City of Durham, the park is in a unique location and our adults-only residents policy makes for a secure, close-knit community. Swainby Country Park is a hive of activity at the moment. Set within the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the park is well worth a visit. Ramtec Alarms and Wifi are being installed, new fences have been put up and we’ve planted lots of new trees to create an arbour. We are also in the process of developing the Grade 2 listed properties at the front of the park to complement the village. Swainby Country Park is open all year round and visitors can enjoy local fishing, beautiful views and excellent local pubs and cafes.
